MAKWANPUR: Counting of votes has started in Makwanpur district.

Although the all-party-all-party meeting held this morning decided to start the counting of votes from 11 am, the counting of votes started only after about an hour and a half, according to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Makwanpur.

The counting of votes has started at Siddhartha Secondary School’s polling station located in Hetauda-2.

In Makwanpur where the total number of voters is 3733, a total of 178 thousand 282 i.e. 59.3 percent votes were cast.

Among them, Chief Election Officer Rishi Ram Niraula informed that the counting of votes in Bagmati Rural Municipality-4 Jhurjhure has started.
