National Independent Party leads in Kathmandu 8 as well

KATHMANDU: Biraj Bhakta Shrestha of the National Independent Party has increased his lead in Kathmandu 8.

Shrestha secured 621 votes, while Suman Sayami of the Hamro Nepali Party (Lauro Abhiyan) secured 603 votes.

Similarly, Shiv Sunder Rajvaidya of the CPN UML secured 308 votes, while Jeevan Ram Shrestha of the CPN (Unified Socialist) secured 221 votes and Prakash Rimal of the RPP secured 203 votes.
