KATHMANDU: It is estimated that 55 to 60 percent of the votes in State 1 were cast.

According to Umesh Basnet, Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law, State 1, voter turnout is expected to be between 55 and 60 percent as voting continues, but statistics are not yet available.

According to him, it is estimated that the votes have been cast in State 1 around 55 to 10 percent. He stated that as the voting was taking place peacefully, it would take some time to obtain the final statistics. Except for one polling station of Aathrai Tribeni in Taplejung, he said, voting was completed peacefully across the state.
