64 percent votes count in Rasuwa

KATHMANDU: In the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections held today, 64 percent of the votes cast in Rasuwa district were cast by 3:30 p.m.

Nawaraj Jaisi, Chief District Officer, reported that 64 percent of the total 39,459 voters had voted by 3:30 p.m.

He stated that the voting is taking place in a peaceful manner.

Rasuwa has 54 polling stations in 34 polling stations.

In Rasuwa, which has one House of Representatives constituency, seven political parties and three independent candidates are competing for House of Representatives seats.
