52 percent of votes fell in Lalitpur

LALITPUR: In today’s voting for the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections, 52 percent voting has been done in Lalitpur district till 3 pm.
“Up to 3 pm, 52 percent voting has been done in all 290 polling stations”, Chief District Officer Jaya Narayan Acharya said, “We expect more than 60 percent voting by the appointed time.”
According to him, voting has started again in one polling station that was stopped. At the polling station located in Ward Office Building Harisidhi of Ward No. 28, the voting was stopped due to a dispute after the direct ballot of the House of Representatives was placed in the proportional ballot box and the proportional ballot was placed in the direct ballot box at the polling station in the ward office building under Ward No. 28 in Constituency No. 3 of Lalitpur.
