KATHMANDU: A clash broke out at the Malikarjun Secondary School Gwani Bagaura polling station in Darchula’s Shailyashikhar Municipality 5.
After it was discovered that someone else had already voted in the name of a woman who had come to vote, a dispute erupted.
When the police attempted to stop her, a woman was hit on the head with a stick. Then the enraged residents began throwing stones at the cops.
To bring the situation under control, the police fired three rounds into the air.
