Deserted polling station

POKHARA: Voters’ enthusiasm for the current election is low.

So far, voter turnout has been very low in polling places. Many voters did not vote because of work obligations.

Some of them did not vote in their home district because they lived outside of it. It is expected that only a small number of votes will be cast in the current election.

In Gandaki, only 25 to 30 percent of votes have been cast. According to reports, 70 percent of votes were cast in Manang, while only 20 percent of votes were cast in other districts.
