Voting halted in Palungtar of Gorkha

POKHARA: The ballot papers for the State Assembly and the House of Representatives are the same in some Gorkha 2 polling stations.

A squabble erupted after ballot papers for the House of Representatives were distributed instead of those for the state assembly at the Palungtar Municipality polling station of Biruwatar Secondary School (A).

Badri Aryal, the polling officer, reported that 33 people voted in the House of Representatives rather than the State Assembly, and that voting resumed with the agreement to allow them to vote again.
