CHITWAN: The voting for Chitwan Constituency No. 1 Rapti Brahmasthani center has continued.

After Biplav activists arrived to burn the ballot boxes, security forces fired aerial shots, postponing voting in the Brahmasthani center.

According to Navinraj Ruwali, Assistant Election Officer of Chitwan Constituency No. 1, voting has been postponed for two hours. ‘We started voting by mobilizing more security personnel, and now voters are casting their votes calmly and enthusiastically,’ he said.

The Biplav activists, who arrived in a group of about 50 people, attempted to burn the ballot box in the morning, according to the police. More security guards have been stationed in the area.
