Attempt to set ballot box on fire in Chitwan, aerial fire by police

CHITWAN: At the Brahmasthani School polling station in Rapti 8 Khirki, Chitwan area No. 1, an attempt was made to burn the ballot box.

Biplav-led CPN activists attempted to burn the ballot box.

The police used aerial fire to chase away those who came to burn the ballot boxes. After the aerial fire, those who came to burn the ballot boxes were dispersed.

Voting has now ceased there. Discussions are currently taking place in order to resume voting.
