KATHMANDU: Gagan Kumar Thapa, the Congress candidate in Kathmandu-4, has stated that the outcome of the election will determine who rules the country.
Thapa, who is also the General Minister of Nepali Congress, stated this briefly after voting.
He stated that after becoming a member of parliament, he intends to run in parliamentary party elections. “I took it as a step to determine who will lead Nepal by sitting in the driver’s seat within the parliamentary system,” he explained.

He insists that the formalities of parliamentary party elections in parties other than Congress have not been completed.
‘If there is a change, I will come to the Congress, where the elections are held, and I will prepare for the parliamentary party elections from the day I become a member of Parliament,’ he added.
