Rabi Lamichhane did not stamp swastik on state assembly ballots

KATHMANDU: Rabi Lamichhane, chairperson of the National Independent Party, voted without a swastik stamp on the state assembly member’s ballot paper.

He voted this morning at the Kathmandu Water Supply Limited center in Mahankal Chaur, Kathmandu, but he did not stamp the swastika both directly and proportionally.

He was elected to the House of Representatives from Chitwan Constituency No. 2. He cannot vote for himself because his name is not on the Chitwan voter list.
