Such is the weather to be on Election Day

KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division reports that there is a general effect of western wind in Nepal right now. As a result, the weather in the hilly areas of State 1 and Gandaki State is generally clear today.

This afternoon, there is a chance of light snowfall in one or two places in the Himalayan areas of State 1 and Gandaki State.

Elsewhere, the sky will be mostly clear. Today is the general election. Voting will take place today from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The weather forecast division has stated that, while snowfall in the Himalayas is normal, there is no weather system that will affect the election.
