Sagar Dhakal still fasting, he will not eat anything until the voting is over

KSATHMANDU: Sagar Dhakal, an independent candidate in Dadeldhura, is still fasting. His fast has been in effect since Friday.

He stated that he will not eat anything until the election is completed today. ‘I have vowed to starve with some goal for these three days,’ he said in a video message on Thursday night.’

Sagar mentioned that there are religious and scientific reasons for fasting.

Sagar, a Gulmi-born engineer, has joined Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s campaign. Nepali Congress (BP) candidates Deuba, Sagar, and Karna Malla compete against independent Bikram Shahi.
