Son of UML candidate nabbed for distributing money in Sindhupalchowk 2 (video included)
A cheque book and Rs 1 lakh 14 thousand in cash were recovered from him, according to a source.
SINDHUPALCHOWK: During the silence period in Sindhupalchowk 2, the son of a UML candidate was arrested while distributing money.
On Saturday evening, police arrested a group of people, including Chhatra Tamang, son of UML state assembly candidate Aman Singh Tamang, in Indrawati Rural Municipality 7, with money and cheque.
A cheque book and Rs 1 lakh 14 thousand in cash were recovered from him, according to a source.
He claims that when they saw the police patrol team, they threw the rest of the money off the cliff.
After the candidate’s son was apprehended with money, a Nawalpur police team went to the scene.
