Thapaliya has urged people to vote confidently in the election of members of the House of Representatives and the State Assembly on Sunday, Nov 20 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

He stated that the commission, security agencies, and other entities are closely monitoring compliance with the code of conduct.

He also stated that security agencies have been directed to take immediate action against those who obstruct voting, attempt to remove ballot papers or ballot boxes, vote multiple times, disrupt the polling place, and so on.
