Nepal Airlines’ Twin Otter plane returned back midway after technical glitch
The aircraft of the national flag carrier had taken off from the Tribhuvan International Airport at 6:45 am.

KATHMANDU: A Twin Otter aircraft of the Nepal Airlines that took off to Bhojpur from Kathmandu returned after a few minutes in the air owing to a technical glitch.
The flight has been affected due to a technical problem in the domestic flight of the Twin Otter aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation (Nepal Airlines).
The aircraft of the national flag carrier had taken off from the Tribhuvan International Airport at 6:45 am.
All domestic flights of the Corporation have been canceled due to a technical problem in only one aircraft capable of flying in domestic flights.
After the aircraft was grounded, the flights scheduled for Friday and Saturday were also canceled. The corporation stated that passengers who were unable to reach their destination would have their fares refunded.
According to the corporation, three Twin Otter aircraft are currently flying domestically, one of which cannot be repaired and the other which has been undergoing technical maintenance for some time.
