Complete prohibition on sale & consumption of alcoholic beverages until the polls are over

KATHMANDU: The government has prohibited the sale and consumption of marijuana across the country until the Nov 20 elections.

The Home Ministry held a press conference on Friday and revealed this information.

In order to conduct the elections in an orderly, dignified, and peaceful manner, the Ministry has imposed a complete ban on the use and sale of intoxicants.
