KATHMANDU: The UAE has set a 177-run target for Nepal in the third and final one-day international.
After losing the toss and batting first, UAE lost 9 wickets in 50 overs and scored 176 runs at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Friday.
For the UAE, Ayan Afzal Khan scored an unbeaten half-century of 54 runs, while Hazrat Bilal scored an unbeaten 20 runs.
Aayan and Hazrat contributed 83 runs for the last wicket for UAE, which lost nine wickets while scoring only 93 runs. Similarly, Alishan Sharafu had the most runs with 33. Mohammad Wasim scored 11 runs and Rohan Mustafa scored 24.
Gulshan Jha, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Kushal Bhurtel all took one wicket each for Nepal. Sompal Kami and Lalit Rajbanshi each took one wicket.
Both the Nepal and UAE teams intend to win the series today.
