KATHMANDU: Dr. Sunil Sharma, a member of the House of Representatives from the United Democratic Left Alliance’s direct side in Morang’s No. 3 constituency, has stated that a 50-bed cabin will be operational for free treatment within 72 hours of winning the election.

Sharma, who is on a door-to-door campaign for the Nov 20 general election, has announced that he will run 25 hospitals with 50 beds for the treatment of poor citizens.

Sharma, who was defeated by a narrow margin in the general election of 2074, has made it clear that he is going to operate a 50-bed cabin for free for five years to meet the public’s expectations as he continued to serve the people even after losing the election.

The government is responsible for people’s health care and that if it is not possible immediately from government funds, we will not allow a situation where someone dies due to a lack of funds by providing services from private sources, said Sharma.

Sharma also stated his intention to provide immediate assistance to anyone with political beliefs.

Sharma’s opponent is Bhanu bhakta Dhakal of the CPN-UML, a former UML minister, and actress Rekha Thapa of the RPP Nepal.
