Stones pelted at vehicle of coalition candidate Umesh Shrestha

CHITWAN: Stones were pelted at the vehicle of Umesh Shrestha, a ruling coalition candidate in Chitwan Constituency No. 2. Shrestha used to ride in this vehicle for election canvassing.

Three people on a motorcycle threw stones at Shrestha’s vehicle, Ba 3 Ch 2040, which had been stopped during the election canvassing. The car windshield is broken.

The police have stated that they are on the lookout for the stone-pelting group.

Stones were pelted at Shrestha’s vehicle, which was parked in the Bharatpur-10 parking lot and attended the election meeting.

Few days back, Rabi Lamichhane’s vehicle used for election canvassing was also vandalized by a group of people in Chitwan.
