KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has claimed that the quality of education in public and private schools will be equalized.

Leader Singh, who became a Democratic-Left Alliance candidate for the House of Representatives in Kathmandu Constituency No. 1 on Tuesday morning, said that equality in the quality of education in public and private schools will be brought about for the development of the country’s education.

Leader Singh stated during the door-to-door campaign that voters are demanding quality education and health services, adding, ‘After winning the election, I will make quality education and health the first priority.’

People, he claims, are also demanding drinking water. He stated that he would prioritize making the federal education act for educational equality.

Former Deputy Prime Minister Singh stated that voters still want him to be elected Prime Minister. Leader Singh claims that public land within Kathmandu Constituency No. 1 has been illegally used, so he intends to reclaim it and build a small game village and park.

He stated that the constitutional body should not be politicized and that qualified individuals should be elected.
