Tuladhar re-elected as chairperson of the NCCCI

KATHMANDU: The 23rd Annual General Meeting of Nepal China Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NCCCI) has re-elected Tribhuwandhar Tuladhar as the chairperson.

Tuladhar was elected as chairperson of a new 25-member working committee at a recent general meeting in the capital.

Rajesh Kaji Shrestha was elected as the association’s outgoing president, Raju Babu Shrestha as senior vice president, and Maheshwar Shrestha and Mahesh Sharma Dhakal as vice presidents. According to the association, Bivek Paudel has been elected general secretary, Vijay Mulmi as treasurer, and Niranjan Tiwari and Rukmini Paudel as secretaries.

The working committee members of the association include Vijay Shrestha, Vikram Pandey, Gyanendra Ratna Tuladhar, Hemanta Agarwal, Huang Erdong, Kumar Dahal and Pabitra Gharti Magar. Similarly, Pasang Nurbu, Pashupati Bhakta Shrestha, Ramesh Sherpa, Sheetal Sharma, Skanda Amatya, Sovit Upreti, Sin Chen, Yamuna Shrestha and Zhang Shao were elected as working committee members, the association said.

Tuladhar, the association’s newly elected chairperson, has promised to actively promote tourism and investment while reducing Nepal’s growing trade deficit. He promised that the union would take steps to ensure that the border crossing with China operates regularly and at full capacity.

The General Assembly was opened by Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, and Himalaya Airlines, Sino Hydro Sagarmatha Power Company, and Silk Transport were honored, as was the outgoing chairperson Rajesh Kaji Shrestha.
