Metropolitan announced to award one lakh rupees to designer of Biratnagar’s symbol logo

KATHMANDU: The Biratnagar Metropolitan Corporation will have its own emblem and logo.

The metropolitan has also announced that one lakh will be awarded to the designer of the best Biratnagar logo.

The executive meeting of the Biratnagar Metropolitan Municipality held on Oct 20 decided to make a public appeal for the creation of the logo.

Nagesh Koirala, Mayor of Biratnagar Metropolitan City, informed that there was an appeal for interested individuals or organizations to send the logo design to the metropolitan via post or email.

The chief administrative officer of the metropolis, Bishnu Prasad Koirala, informed that the logo design received by December 4 will be considered in the selection process. The winning logo will receive a cash prize of one lakh rupees.

Koirala stated that the chosen logo is ready for use by the city. The metropolitan has also published an announcement in Monday’s Gorkhapatra daily detailing the topics and conditions that will be included in the logo.
