Karishma & Akash seeking for votes for Ishwor Pokharel
On Sunday morning, they took part in Pokharel's door-to-door campaign in Basundhara, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-3.
KATHMANDU: Karishma Manandhar, a well-known actress, and film director and producer Aakash Adhikari have also joined the door-to-door campaign for CPN-UML Senior Vice Chairperson Ishwor Pokharel. Karishma and Aakash backed Pokharel’s election campaign for the House of Representatives from Kathmandu Constituency No. 5.
On Sunday morning, they took part in Pokharel’s door-to-door campaign in Basundhara, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-3. Manandhar Pokharel, a permanent resident of Kathmandu Constituency No. 5, stated that she has done a lot for the development of this constituency and has immersed herself in the people. Pokharel is the only candidate in Kathmandu Constituency No. 5, she claims.
According to actress Manandhar, the UML is the only party that has taken steps toward developing the country. UML, led by KP Sharma Oli, was successful in making the Nepali people feel development at a time when the Nepali people did not have a clear understanding of what development was. So this time, vote for UML,” actress Manandhar said.
During the door-to-door campaign, Ward No. 3 residents welcomed UML Senior Vice Chairperson Pokharel and wished him success. Pokharel expressed his gratitude for the people’s goodwill and trust, and stated that he will always be with them in their happiness, suffering, and development. Pokharel is the candidate for Kathmandu Constituency No. 5 in the House of Representatives, Narayan Silwal for State Assembly 5 (1), and Deepak Niraula for State Assembly 5 (2).
