Five days left for election campaigning

KATHMANDU: There are only five days left for political parties and candidates to campaign for the November 20 representative and state assembly member elections.

Political parties, candidates, fraternal organizations of parties, and related persons have been designated for campaigning from Nov 3 to Nov 17 under the rules of conduct to be followed during processions, general meetings, corner meetings, meetings, gatherings, or election campaigning activities in Section 13 of the Election Code of Conduct.

Since the night of Nov 17, there has been a lull in the prohibition of propaganda.

According to the Commission, the code of conduct is being followed, and action is being taken in the event of a violation.
