Landless squatters’ problems will be resolved: NC candidate Singh

KATHMANDU: Prakash Man Singh, the leader of the Nepali Congress and the ruling coalition’s candidate in Kathmandu-1, has promised to address the concerns of squatters residents.

Candidate Singh promised to solve the problems of squatters peoples at a program held on Sunday morning in Thapathali, a Bagmati river shores.

Based on the Land Commission’s report, he stated that he would take initiatives to satisfactorily resolve squatters people’s problems.

The Land Commission has already begun working. It was halted as the Election Commission ordered that no work be done during the election,’ he explained.

This morning, Singh reached at Thapathali’s squatters settlement on the banks of the Bagmati River.
