Man died in an accident at Sallaghari in Bhaktapur

KATHMANDU: A car and a motorcycle collided in Bhaktapur, killing one person.

Sandeep Basnet of Kavre Panchkhal Municipality was killed when a bike and a car collided in Sallaghari on Saturday evening.

The car, numbered Ba 6 Ch 815, was heading to Sallaghari from Koteshwor, according to Raju Pandey, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Complex, Bhaktapur. Similarly, the Ba 28 P 7392 motorcycle was returning from Bhaktapur.

“Basnet died during treatment at Iwamura Hospital,” he explained. According to the police, both the driver and the vehicle were taken into custody.
