President Bhandari returns home

President Bidya Devi Bhandari has returned home this morning.

Bhandari, who reached in Iceland on Nov 7 to participate in the global network of women politicians’ ‘Women Political Leaders’ program, has returned home.

Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Speaker of the National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, and others greeted President Bhandari at Tribhuvan International Airport.

Bhandari also addressed at the Reykjavik Global Forum, which was held in Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital. She was also honored with the ‘Women Political Trailblazer Award.’
