President Bhandari returning home on Saturday

KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari is set to return home on Saturday after an official visit to the People’s Republic of Iceland.

President Bhandari traveled to Iceland on Nov 7 to participate in the global network of women politicians known as ‘Women Political Leaders’ (WPL).

She also delivered a special address at the Reykjavik Global Forum (Women Leaders), which was held in Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital. She was also honored with the “Women Political Trailblazer Award.”

President Bhandari is scheduled to depart Iceland today and arrive in Kathmandu on Saturday via Oslo, Norway’s capital, and Doha, Qatar’s capital.
