Dharan will be supplied with drinking water: Oli

DHARAN: Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has stated that only the CPN-UML is capable of resolving Dharan’s drinking water crisis.
Addressing the joint gathering in Dharan today, Oli said that the UML government should be formed to solve the main problem of Dharan in the long term.
He stated that Dharan will be supplied with drinking water by pumping water from Saptakoshi or by building a tunnel through the Leuti river.
Oli stated that a strong embankment will be constructed to protect the Deurali settlement in Dharan Ward No. 5 from the river, and that unruly residents will be given land documents. He stated that the UML should vote for Ashok Rai as the CPN UML and JSP are in agreement.
He stated that the CPN-UML candidate should be sent after winning, and that coordination for national needs has taken place.
He also stated that chaos is spreading throughout the country in the name of freedom, and that citizens should be cautious because local and foreign forces are operating under different names.
