MUSTANG: An artistic mountain that is the property of Upper Mustang.

Upper Mustang was a restricted kingdom and demilitarized zone until 1992, making it one of the world’s best preserved regions, with the majority of the population still speaking traditional Tibetan languages.

The region’s relative isolation from the outside world has helped to preserve Tibetan culture. Mustang’s economy is based on tourism, animal husbandry, and trade.
