KATHMANDU: Germany has named a squad of 26 players, including Mario Gotze, who scored the game-winning goal in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Germany, the four-time champion, is in Doha for Hansi training in the hopes of winning the championship for the fifth time.

Germany’s team includes midfielder Mario Gotze, who scored against Argentina in the final match, as well as experienced goalkeepers Manuel Neuer and Thomas Muller.
Similarly, Youssoufa Moukoko, a young striker, has made the team. Due to injuries, Timo Werner and Marco Reus are not on the team.
Germany will kick off their World Cup campaign against Japan on November 23. Costa Rica and Spain are also represented in the group.
