KATHMANDU: Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, former Prime Minister and coordinator of the Nepal Samajwadi Party (NSP), went to Congress leader Prakash Man Singh to solicit votes.

While campaigning for Congress candidate Singh in Kathmandu 1, Bhattarai urged the ruling coalition to win in order to ensure the constitution’s implementation and development.

‘The current election is special. Normally, competition between parties exists, but this time it is a battle between progressive and regressive forces.

He is a deserving individual. He has a clean image,’ he said, adding that only by strengthening our alliance will the constitution’s protection and institutional development be ensured.
