Authority’s accusation against judgment of special court is unfair: Nepal Bar

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Bar Association has objected to the authority’s claim that the special court’s execution of justice in cases involving corruption is not appropriate.

Acting Chairperson of the Bar, Advocate Harka Bahadur Rawal, stated this in a press release on Thursday.

The commission held a press conference and objected to a judicial body, such as the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority, making a judicial decision through a constitutional judicial body, claiming that it would jeopardize the court’s judicial independence.

Only a few days ago, the commission held a press conference in which it expressed its dissatisfaction with the administration of justice in the authority case decided by the special court.
