CHITWAN: Umesh Shrestha, the ruling coalition’s candidate for Chitwan Constituency No. 2, has stated that he entered politics to make the country rich.

Shrestha, who has been doing door-to-door campaigns continuously, told voters, ‘I came into politics to make the country rich; give me the opportunity to be your servant.’ He stated that for the country to be prosperous, resources must be properly mobilized.

‘If the country is rich, the people are rich.

He stated that as Chitwan is a hub of education, health, tourism, and agriculture, if it is promoted, development will improve. ‘I will serve the people in the future, give me the opportunity,’ he said, stating that he has been in the business sector for nearly five decades.

Shrestha stated that the government should emphasize commercial agriculture and that production and productivity should be increased for the country’s progress. After 23 years, he begged him to reconsider, claiming that the coalition had made him a candidate in Chitwan. “I believe you will give me a opportunity, and I will be your helper,” he stated.

He urged Congress to win over ordinary voters in order to make history after 23 years, stating that November 4 is the time for scrutiny. If he is elected, he has promised to set up a contact office for development in this area and to solve the problems of all people.
