Singer Prakash Dutraj attempts suicide
The reason why Dutraj attempted suicide is not known.
KATHMANDU: Prakash Dutraj, a singer, who is in Australia for musical event attempted suicide.
It is being told that the incident happened at midnight local time on Sunday.
Dutraj went to Australia on Oct 20 for a concert with singer Bhumika Giri. The organizer kept them both in a flat there. Dutraj attempted suicide in the same flat’s bedroom. His room’s door was open.
According to a source close to the organizer, after Bhumika learned about his attempted suicide, the organizer entered room and rescued him.
Dutraj’s condition is now normal. The reason why Dutraj attempted suicide is not known.
Dutraj is a singer who gained fame and popularity in a short time. His songs like ‘Ghar Kata Ho Bainiko’, ‘Jam Bho Maili’, ‘Choli Mailai Bho’, ‘Relimai’ are famous.
