KATHMANDU: Foreigners will now be charged the same fee as domestic tourists at Dhulikhel Zipline.

Previously, there were three types of separate charges for Nepalese, SAARC countries, and citizens of other countries, according to Kedar Thapa, chairperson of Dhulikhel Zipline.

According to Bhupesh Shrestha, CEO of Dhulikhel Zipline, this was done to treat Nepalis and citizens of all other countries economically equally.

Previously, the classic (ordinary) zipline cost 2500 for Nepalese, $30 for citizens of SAARC countries, and $35 for citizens of other countries. Similarly, Superman Zipline cost Nepalese 3,500 rupees, $40 for citizens of SAARC countries, and $35 for citizens of other countries.

Likewise, the tandem (pair) zipline costs 4,500 rupees for Nepalese, $50 for citizens of SAARC countries, and $60 for citizens of other countries.

With the company’s decision, citizens from all countries will now be able to play Classic 2500, Superman 3500, and Tandem Zipline 4500.
