Director Puri completed jury duty at ‘Breijning Film Festival’ in Netherlands

KATHMANDU: Shiva Puri, who has edited over 30 Nepali films, has finished his duties as a jury at the ‘Breijning Film Festival’ in the Netherlands.

Puri was selected as a judge by applying online.
The festival took place from the 2nd to the 9th of October.
Puri, who has produced and edited numerous documentaries, said that serving as a jury at a prestigious film festival was a rewarding experience.
Shiva and the decisiving team, shortlisted 35 films from hundreds of submissions.
The shortlisted films were thus shown in various locations throughout Europe. Films in various categories were declared winners by adding the jurys’ points to the feedback from the venues where they were shown.
