KATHMANDU: Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya, the Chief Election Commissioner, has stated that the November 4 House of Representatives and State Assembly elections will be conducted in a fearless and fair manner. Speaking at a program on ‘Effective Implementation of Election Code of Conduct and Role of Stakeholders’ jointly organized by the Commission and Nepal Law Society in Birtamode, Jhapa, Chief Commissioner Thapaliya stated that if a political party tries to influence any voter for security reasons, the related party or person will be prosecuted according to law, but for the same reason, the commission stated that re-voting should not be permitted.
