Prachanda’s wife Sita’s health deteriorated, being treated in ICU

KATHMANDU: Sita Dahal, the wife of CPN Maoist Center Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal, has been admitted to the hospital.

She was admitted to the ICU of Mediciti Hospital in Lalitpur after her health deteriorated.

Sita was discharged from the hospital after only 15 days of treatment on Monday.

For a long time, she had progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) disease with Parkinson’s-like symptoms. Sita is also diabetic and has high blood pressure.

According to neurologists, Sita’s paralysis is caused by a brain disease. This disease affects only a small number of people.
