India hands over 80 vehicles to EC
The vehicle was handed over to Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya by Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava.

KATHMANDU: India has given the Election Commission 80 vehicles. India has donated vehicles for the election of members of the House of Representatives and State Assembly on Nov 20.
The vehicle was handed over to Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya by Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava.
Srivastava stated that the Government of India provided vehicle assistance at the request of the Government of Nepal and the Nepal Election Commission. He expressed his pleasure at assisting in the election process as a neighboring country of Nepal, and he believes that the support provided by the Indian government will help the commission complete the election.
According to Shaligram Sharma Poudel, the commission’s spokesperson, the vehicles received will aid in election management.
