100 polling booths will be made disabled friendly

KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) has decided to make 100 polling places accessible to the disabled.

A sign language list, orientation to polling station staff on the use of sign language, Braille materials on voting methods, colorful ropes and poles, ramp construction, wheelchair-accessible polling stations, tables and chairs for the disabled will be provided in these polling stations.
