KATHMANDU: The ruling coalition has increased its focus on constituency election campaigns. The election mobilization committee carried out the campaign by creating a schedule of regionally focused programs.

The election campaign schedule was announced at a meeting of the Region No. 4 Election Mobilization Committee on Wednesday at the Nepali Congress Party office in Biratnagar. The work schedule for the election-focused program, which begins on the Nov 3, has been announced.

The coordinator of the election mobilization committee, Mahesh Regmi, informed about the program, which included a motorcycle rally from Ghinaghat to Pushpalal Chowk in Biratnagar on Nov 3.

Similarly, on Nove 4, a door-to-door campaign will be held at Belbari 7 and Biratnagar 3. On Nov 6, there will be door-to-door and corner meetings in Biratnagar 19, Katahari 3, Gramthan 4, and Katahari 2. Binod Basnet, regional chairperson of Nepali Congress Constituency No. 4, announced a door-to-door and corner meeting in Kathari 4, Kathari 3, Gramthan 2, and Biratnagar 10 on Nov 7.

Basnet stated that on Nov 8, a door-to-door campaign and corner meetings will be held in Biratnagar 3 and 10, Gramathan 2 and Kathari 4, and on Nov 23, a door-to-door campaign and corner meetings will be held in Kathari 6, Kathari 1, Village 5 and Biratnagar 1. The ruling coalition has decided to hold a door-to-door campaign in Kathari 6 and Gramathan 7 in Biratnagar on Nov 10.

Bijay Biswas, District Coordinator of the CPN Maoist Center, and Bhim Bahadur Basnet, Regional Coordinator of the CPN Unified Samajwadi Party, also attended the regional election mobilization committee meeting.
