KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML manifesto (commitment letter) for the upcoming elections has been released.

The UML has released its election manifesto for the Nov 20 House of Representatives and State Assembly elections.

While releasing the manifesto, Chairperson KP Sharma Oli posed five questions to voters, clarifying why they should vote for UML.

During a program at a hotel in Kathmandu, Oli unveiled his election manifesto. UML has posed five reasons why someone should vote in UML in its manifesto, which was released by Oli.

These are the 5 questions Oli asked the voters

1. Defense of national interest, independence and self-respect or serious deviation in foreign relations and traumatic interference in national interest?

2. Endless instability or endless chaos in the name of political stability or power sharing?

3. A frugal, transparent and responsive governance system or abuse of the state system for the benefit of limited individuals?

4. National capital building, self-reliance and prosperity of the country, or the duality, dependence and waste of the economy?

5. Achieving the national aspirations of a prosperous Nepal and happy Nepalis or fulfilling the selfishness of limited leaders?
