Pogba to miss Fifa World Cup

KATHMANDU: France midfielder Paul Pogba has confirmed that he will miss the Qatar World Cup in 2022.

Pogba, a midfielder for the Italian Serie A club Juventus, will miss the World Cup in Qatar, which begins on Nov 20.

Pogba, who was a hero when France won the World Cup in Russia in 2018, was regarded as an important member this time as well

Pogba has not played a single game this season after returning to Juventus from English Premier League club Manchester United due to a knee injury.

France will start the World Cup against Australia on Nov 22.

France, Australia, Denmark, and Tunisia make up Group D.
