KATHMANDU: The CPN United Socialist Party has released the election manifesto for the State Assembly and House of Representatives, which will be held on Nov 20. The manifesto’s policy commitments have emphasized the defense of the constitution and the system, as well as the change of the current electoral system.

The party says that the current electoral system is very expensive and hinders development, so an alternative should be found.
Similarly, the party has prepared a manifesto emphasizing on improvement in public service delivery, development of industry, agriculture, tourism, education, health and irrigation, and has prioritized the issue of building the East-West municipality canal.
