KATHMANDU: The CPN (United Socialist Party) has proposed reforming the current electoral system. This is mentioned in the manifesto released on Monday for the Nov 20 House of Representatives and State Assembly elections.

By improving it, we hope to make this election system simpler and less expensive. This time, too, our party will run the least expensive election campaign, and our candidates will run the least expensive election campaign,’ stated the socialist manifesto.

The CPN (Unified Socialist Party), which was formed by a revolt from the CPN-UML, has stated that effective services should be provided at people’s doorsteps for good governance and transparency. “All organs of the state’s work should be carried out in accordance with the principles of good governance, complete transparency, and separation of powers with zero tolerance for corruption,” the manifesto stated, “providing effective services at people’s doorsteps in accordance with the spirit of federalism, developing a system to complete all works including development and construction in a fast, efficient, and time-bound manner.” We will always keep our promises.’

To build a self-sufficient economy, Samajwadi has proposed modernizing agriculture, increasing production and trade in industries such as indigenous raw materials, energy, and developing and expanding service sectors such as tourism, management, and information and technology, and laying the groundwork for a self-sufficient economy.

We support laying the groundwork for socialism by launching an economic and social transformation campaign in Nepal’s current society. We are confident that the goal of socialism can only be achieved by continuing on the path of prosperity and faster economic development. ‘We will undoubtedly receive popular support for this as well,’ stated the manifesto.
