Sita Dahal discharged from hospital

KATHMANDU: Sita Dahal, the wife of former Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal, has been released from the hospital.

Sita was admitted to Lalitpur’s Mediciti Hospital 15 days ago due to health issues.

Sita has had progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) with Parkinson’s-like symptoms for a long time.

Sita is also diabetic and has high blood pressure.

According to neurologists, Sita’s paralysis is caused by a brain disease. This disease is seen in very few people.

Ganga Dahal, her daughter, informed her that she had been discharged after her health improved. “Today, after 15 days in the hospital, mother’s health improved with the love and blessings of the well-wishers, and she was discharged and brought home today,” Ganga wrote on Facebook. “Thank you very much to all the well-wishers.”
