KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has announced its election platform. On Sunday, party chairperson Rajendra Lingden announced the manifesto at a program in the capital.

The RPP’s manifesto for the House of Representatives and State Assembly member elections on Nov 20 covers topics ranging from permanently ending the Nepal strike to investigating the assets of high-ranking leaders and employees since 2046.

Similarly, parental institutions, royal institutions, a directly elected executive prime minister, a fully proportional parliament, and other topics are mentioned.

The RPP, which has included the issue of abolition of states, has promised not to engage in power-centered politics.

Explaining about the participation in the government, it is said in the manifesto, ‘Taking lessons from the bitter experience gained due to the power-centered politics of the past, the RPP will not do power-centered politics.’
